This afterschool art program at Wild Learning is designed to encourage young creatives to celebrate what makes their art unique, different and brilliant whilst learning skills and techniques.

For the final term of the year we have combined group B+C into a single class and extended the time so that students will get 70 minute lessons each week. We hope this extra time allows students to get a little deeper into each creative project!

Class time will be 5:00pm - 6:10pm

This studio style class will enable students to work at their own pace and get creative with drawing + painting projects, learning about:

• Drawing what we see
• Using a reference image
• Working from imagination!

PLEASE NOTE: This will be a shorter 7 week term with an end of year party for out final class!

Learning Objectives:

• Develop foundational fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination through art making.
• Learn essential drawing, painting and art making techniques with guidance from an art teacher in a small group class
• Explore self-expression and creative thinking in a fun and supportive environment.
• Build confidence in artistic abilities through exploration and experimentation with diverse media.
